Students moving back on UT campus for fall semester | News
(WBIR-Knoxville) University of Tennessee students have begum moving back to campus for the fall semester.
The campus opened Monday for first year students involved in the Ignite serves program and was opened to Haslam Scholar students.
Move in will continue throughout the week at these times:
Wednesday August 12
-Upper-division residents (sophomores and above) may check-in beginning at 8am. Continues daily.
-Women who are participating in Sorority Recruitment are invited to check-in between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
-Ignite Summer Session 2 may check in between the hours of 10am and 5pm.
Friday August 14
-Honors and ECAP (Fred D Brown Jr. Hall): 9AM-4PM
-Leadership & Service (Massey Hall): 12PM-4PM
-Venture (Hess Hall): 12PM-4PM
-Crescendo (N&S Carrick): 12PM-4PM
-Air Force ROTC, Baker, and Greenhouse (Morrill Hall): 10AM-11AM
-Design, ConnectED, and CASNR (Morrill Hall): 11:00AM-12:30PM
-MMP and Pulse (Morrill Hall): 12:30PM-1:30PM
-Engage/RISER (Morrill Hall): 1:30PM-4PM
-Volunteer Bridge (Clement Hall): 12PM-4PM
Saturday August 15
All residence halls are open to first year students starting at 8am. Report to the appropriate hall and staff will direct you.
Reese Hall Adjusted Move-In Times:
Ground floor, 2nd floor, 4th floor & 6th floor: beginning at 8am
1st floor, 3rd floor & 5th floor: beginning at 1pm
The University will hold rooms until the first day of class Wednesday August 19. An extension may be granted if you are unable to move in by the first day of class.
University Housing is located at 405 Student Services Building. The hours of operation are: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The office will be open on Saturday, August 15, and Sunday, August 16, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
