UT to host discussion on potential campus privatization plan | News
(WBIR – KNOXVILLE) University of Tennessee students, faculty and staff can hear about a plan to privatize services at the university on Tuesday morning.
UT staff members protested the idea in September.
Senate Minority Leader Lee Harris, D-Memphis, and state Rep. John Ray Clemmons, D-Nashville, plan to come to UT on Tuesday to learn more about the possible impact.
The discussion starts at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Frieson Black Culture Center.
