The defense was ugly, but the offense shined, and Vols quarterback Tyler Bray is getting some recognition for his effort this week.
Bray was named the SEC Co-Offensive Player of Week on Monday. He set the Tennessee record for passing yards in a game with 530 as the Vols knocked off Troy, 55-48. Bray shared the award with Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray.
Bray's 530 passing yards are the second-most by an SEC quarterback in history, second only to Eric Zeier who threw for 544 for Georgia in 1993 against Southern Mississippi.
